FOR CHARITIES AND NOT-FOR-PROFITS
Every pound counts. ITbuilder keeps your people, supporter data and systems secure and reliable at a predictable cost, so more of your time and money goes to your cause.
Charities ask a lot of their technology and have little room to waste money on it. Staff, trustees and volunteers work from offices, shops, community venues and home, often on a mix of organisation and personal devices. Supporter, donor and beneficiary records are among the most sensitive data a charity holds, and the trust that supports your fundraising depends on protecting it. Funders and commissioners increasingly ask for evidence of good security, such as Cyber Essentials, before they award a grant or contract, and trustees need to be able to show that cyber risk is being properly managed.
Most charities we work with are small to mid-sized organisations with a handful of staff, a larger group of volunteers and either a part-time IT lead or none at all. Without dedicated support the same issues keep surfacing: shared logins and personal devices with no controls, donor data spread across spreadsheets and unsupported systems, licences that are not making the most of nonprofit discounts, and IT costs that arrive as unplanned surprises rather than a line in the budget.
Brightwater Trust (fictitious example)
Cyber Essentials achieved and IT costs made predictable for the trustees
We are a small team with a lot of volunteers, and our supporters trust us with their details. ITbuilder tightened up how we protect that data, got us through Cyber Essentials for a funder, and gave us one monthly cost we can put in front of the trustees.
