FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRMS
Advisers, wealth managers and financial services firms are trusted with client money and data. ITbuilder provides the secure, resilient and well-documented IT that stands up to scrutiny.
Financial services firms are built on trust. Client records, portfolios, identity documents and payment details have to be protected, access has to be controlled and auditable, and the firm has to show it can keep operating through an incident. Regulatory expectations around operational resilience, data protection and outsourcing mean that IT decisions are also compliance decisions.
Many of the firms we support are independent advisers, wealth managers, brokers and lenders with small teams and a handful of specialist platforms, from CRM and back-office systems to custodian and product portals. Without dedicated support the usual risks are over-privileged access, unmanaged devices, patchy security on remote working, and little documentation to hand when a regulator, a client or an insurer asks how data is protected.
