This week, we were honoured to be supporting the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, postponed by 15 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As sponsor of the category for Best Use of Technology, we completed the entry review and judging in 2019, so it was very enjoyable after such a long delay, to learn who the winner was.
Not only this, but it was great to be out at an event, catching up with old friends in the Herts business scene as well as forging new relationships.
The event was held at the Warner Brothers Studios and it was quite surreal to enjoy a gala dinner amongst the Harry Potter memorabilia and attractions!
It came as no surprise to learn that the category was scooped by HBC Logistics in Letchworth, when the award winner was eventually announced. Despite being nearly two years between judging and the award presentation, their entry was memorable as the ‘stand out’ one. Their investment in a technological solution to improve business efficiency and improve deliver the very best for their customers is very impressive indeed.
